PUBLIC NOTICE REGARDING THE RESULTS OF THE FIRST PHASE ADMISSION SELECTION FOR HEALTH COURSES IN SEPTEMBER 2022/2023

The Council received a total of 31,158 applications, of which 28,316 (91 percent) are qualified to join various health programs (15,711 women (50.4 percent) and 15,447 men (49.6 percent). 14 229 women (50.2% of the qualified applicants) and 14 087 men (49.8 percent) are among them.

Additionally, out of a total of 20,407 qualified applicants, 10,426 women (51 percent) and 9,981 men (49 percent) were chosen to participate in the first phase of various health programs offered by 208 universities. 7,909 applicants (28%), 3,803 women (48%), and 4,106 men (52%) with qualifications were not chosen in their selections for a variety of reasons, such as competition and the small number of available spots in the colleges they applied to, as stated in the profile of their pages of prayers.

To find out more, all applicants can review their responses on the council’s website at www.nacte.go.tz. Those who were chosen successfully are recommended to obtain the application form and get in touch with the college immediately to find out if they have been hired.

All applicants who are not yet prepared to enroll in colleges are instructed by the Council to get in touch with the appropriate universities for more information. All applicants who were not chosen should complete the new options by following the instructions on their application pages (their profiles).

The second phase’s window opened today, August 15, 2022, and will close on August 30, 2022, the Council also wants to let the public know. The election results will be announced on September 6, 2022.

NACTE Information on Admissions

There are, however, some program requirements that are unique to particular programs. Generally speaking, the admission standards used in the admission guidebook are those that NACTE has approved based on Curriculum Information Reports for pertinent programs. Offerings include basic technician certificates (NTA Level 4), technician certificates (NTA Level 5), and diploma programs (NTA Level 6).

As a result, the list of institutions with the corresponding programs they offer, the minimal entry requirements for each program, the institution’s ownership type, the tuition costs for the relevant program and its length, and other information are all included in the admission guidebooks for a given academic year. Admission Requirements for TLF Programs

NACTE was tasked by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) with organizing admissions for certificates and diplomas in teacher education that will be provided by public teacher colleges.

For the purpose of directing student admission to public and private teacher colleges for a given academic year, the Ministry established and published entry requirements for teacher education programs.

Aside from social studies and languages, domestic science, business education, mathematics, and science, technical education, physical education, special needs education, agriculture, and fine art were all included in the secondary education diploma program.

The Grade IIIA in Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, Physical Education, and a Certificate in Special Needs Education were the teacher education programs for the Certificate level. The minimum entry qualifications set by MoEST are as detailed herein:

The Council’s Scope

The NACTE’s coverage area includes all institutions of higher learning, excluding universities and the colleges affiliated with them, that offer courses at the technician, semi-professional, and professional levels and result in the awarding of certificates, diplomas, degrees, and other related awards.

The National Council for Technical Education’s threefold mandate, as derived from Cap. 129, may be summed up as follows:

• Regulatory Function: to establish the legal framework for technical education and training that results in qualifications with high standards;
• by directing and overseeing their adherence to the regulatory framework, to help technical institutions maintain and improve the quality of the education they offer and to make sure that their programs meet the demands of the labor market; and Advisory Function: to provide guidance to the government and technical institutions on the strategic development of technical education and training.

These three components work together to form the core duties of NACTE, a procedure that results in credentials for technical education and training in our nation that are of the highest caliber.
