Kasanka Cycle Challenge: New Challenge Schedule ElijahMuna, September 23, 2022 Second Cycle Challenge in Kasanka National Park, Kasanka Challenge Mountain Bike Cycling Competition in Kasanka, Kasanka Cycle Challenge 2, Kasanka Cycling Competition schedule. The Last Kasanka Cycle challenge took place on the 25th of May 2022. This is an opportunity for cycling enthusiasts to participate in what they love while taking on a challenge. Take part in the Kasanka Cycle Challenge if you love the outdoors, are a cycling enthusiast, and need a weekend getaway. This is one of the few cycle challenges in Zambia to pass through a national park, and it includes 45km, 22km, and 5km races to suit all abilities. Kasanka Cycle Challenge Understand the Kasanka Cycle challenge The Kasanka Bicycle Challenge’s primary goal is to raise money to support the preservation of Kasanka National Park. The initial Kasanka Challenge served as a test to determine whether a market would exist. Despite our lack of expectations, we managed to raise K 5.580.000 in race fees. The scout office at Wasa Camp will be powered by this money. There is something for everyone, including a kid’s race to keep it all in the family, whether you are a Racing Snake who wants to complete the 52 km Challenge or a Weekend Cruiser who will be content to finish the 22 km intermediate race. The Kasanka Challenge will be held for the second time this year, and we hope to attract more participants so that in the near future, the race’s reputation will advance both nationally and even internationally. This race is regarded as being both fun and exciting at the same time. It is a less technical event that features free-flowing single track through pristine woodland with little ascent but thrilling log bridge crossings. Kasanka provides a variety of lodging choices: Kabwe or Pontoon Campgrounds for camping. Kasanka Conservation Center dorms Chalets with bathrooms at the Wasa Lodge.(for Accommodation and entries visit wasa@kasanka.com) Luwombwa Lodge. To allow for travel time, which is 6-7 hours from Lusaka on a good tarred road up to the gate (where the race will start from), it will be held over a long weekend. From there, it is another 12 km on a dirt road to Wasa Lodge.
