Opportunities for employment at TANROADS in Arusha in 2022(Employment Opportunities at TANROAD Arusha 2022) The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS), which is a division of the Ministry of Works and Transport, is in charge of constructing and maintaining Tanzania’s mainland’s regional and trunk road network. Axle Load Control Operations and Airport Construction are also under its purview.

On behalf of the government of the United Republic of Tanzania, the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) signed a contract for the bitumen standard upgrade of the Mianzini-Olemringaringa-Ngaramtoni Juu and Olemringaringa-Sambasha/Timbolo roads (18km). The Defects Liability Period and the Construction Supervision Period each last 15 calendar months.

 

The Regional Manager’s Office of TANROADS in Arusha, Tanzania, intends to hire qualified and competent personnel to fill the following vacant post on a contract basis within the Region on behalf of the Chief Executive.

If necessary, the chosen candidate must be willing to work in the project area in Arusha Region for extended periods of time.

Educational/Professional qualifications:-

• • He/She must have a Certificate in secretarial Service or equivalent from any recognized Learning Institution/colleges;
  • A National Form IV/VI certificate;
  • Computer literate;
  • Work Experience: At least 3 years cumulative experience related to secretarial works;
  • Experience in road projects will be an added advantage;
  • Self-motivation, able to work under pressure outside working hours with minimum supervision;

• It is mandatory to be fluent in both written and spoken English.
