Mechanic Needed at Tembo Nickel – Easy to apply – 1 year contract job

Position Summary:

Tembo Nickel is seeking to recruit a Mechanic to join Tembo Nickel Project Team. This role is based at Ngara Site, reporting to the Camp and Facilities Lead.

The Mechanic repairs, rebuilds, and/or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, Generators, trucks, tractors, or other assignede quipments. This is a 1 Year fixed Term Contract

 

Principal Accountabilities

• Diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs necessary and identifying what parts are needed to complete the work.
• Replacing worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings, gaskets, or other enginep arts.
• Grinding and adjusting valves.
• Rebuilding carburettors.
• Overhauling transmissions.
• Repairing/replacing fuel injection systems, lighting components, and ignition systems
• Understand the Acceptable Performance Levels (APL’s) associated with assignedf unctional work areas / process and work expeditiously to meet contractual and team goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned relative to the servicing and repair of vehicles ande quipment used in support of the Project

 

Experience and Qualifications

• Full Technician certificate in Mechanics
• Motor vehicle Mechanic
• Knowledge of auto electrical will be an added advantage

Minimum of 3 years working experience in similar role
