As a store associate, your duties will include cashiering, cleaning the store to maintain its best appearance, and merchandising and storing merchandise.

By collaborating with the ALDI team and delivering top-notch customer service, you’ll improve the shopping experience for customers.

average Hours: fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Duties and responsibilities:

The ability to execute responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation is required. conducts routine cleaning tasks, takes customer transactions, and neatly restock shelves and goods displays. We help clients with their purchasing experience by providing great customer service.

Work together as a team and be clear in your communication with the shop management staff.
Feedback on all items, inventory losses, scanning mistakes, and general problems should be provided to management.
Participate in conducting store inventory counts in accordance with the rules and keep an eye on the inventory’s correctness.
Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.

Physical Demands:

Possessing the capacity to stock goods from shop receiving to shelving and to arrange goods weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at different heights.
Frequently expected to stroll about the store, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, and pull. responsibilities must be able to be carried out with or without an appropriate accommodation.

Qualifications:

ability to properly and effectively run a cash register
Ability to safely and correctly use equipment, such as a floor scrubber, an electric or manual hand jack, and a cardboard baler
Possessing the ability to carry out routine cleaning tasks to the company’s criteria

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Prior work experience in a retail environment is preferred.
A combination of education and experience provides equivalent knowledge.
