24 September: Spain (8) vs Switzerland (3), Czech Republic (4) vs Portugal (7)

27 September: Portugal vs Spain, Switzerland vs Czech Republic

• If Spain wins and Portugal loses, Spain will advance to the championship game. Spain can never be demoted.
• If Portugal loses and Spain wins, they will no longer be in the finals. If they win or if Switzerland loses, they will avoid being demoted.
• If Spain loses, the Czech Republic will still have a chance to advance to the finals. If they triumph and Switzerland loses, they will avoid relegation.

• If Hungary defeats Germany and Italy fails to defeat England, they will both advance to the finals. If Hungary avoids a loss or if England loses, they will avoid relegation.
• If Germany avoids losing to Hungary, they will still have a chance to make the finals. If Germany wins, if both games are drawn, or if England loses, they will avoid relegation.
• If Italy defeats England or if the other game ends in a tie, they will still be in the finals. If Italy wins, they will avoid being demoted.
• If England loses to Italy, they will be demoted. There is no way for England to advance.

 

Group A4

22 September: Poland (4) vs Netherlands (10), Belgium (7) vs Wales (1).

25 September: Netherlands vs Belgium, Wales vs Poland

• If the Netherlands defeats Poland and Belgium loses, or if the Netherlands draws and Belgium loses, the Netherlands will advance to the finals. The Netherlands is ineligible to be demoted.
• If Belgium defeats Wales, if they draw and the Netherlands lose, or even if the Netherlands lose, they will still have a chance to advance to the finals. No one can demote Belgium.
• If Poland wins or if they draw and Wales loses, they will avoid relegation. Poland will not be able to compete in the finals; at best, they will tie for first place with Belgium.
• Wales will be demoted if they lose to Belgium and either Poland wins or draws and Wales loses. Wales will not be able to advance.

 

LEAGUE B

Group B1

27 September: Albania vs Iceland (3)

• If Israel triumphs, they will be promoted to League A.
• If Israel loses, Iceland will still have a chance to be promoted, but first it must defeat Albania.
• To continue being considered for promotion, Albania must win.

 

Group B3

23 September: Finland (4) vs Romania (3), Bosnia and Herzegovina (8) vs Montenegro (7)

26 September: Montenegro vs Finland, Romania vs Bosnia and Herzegovina

The requisites for UEFA Nations League finals qualification in this Group are:

• If they triumph, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be promoted to League A. Bosnia and Herzegovina is ineligible to be demoted.
• If they avoid losing, Montenegro will continue to be in the running for promotion. If Montenegro wins or draws and Romania loses, they will avoid relegation.
• If Finland triumphs and Bosnia and Herzegovina loses, they will both remain in the running for promotion.
• If Finland wins, they will avoid being demoted. If Romania loses to Finland, they will be demoted. If Romania wins and the other game is a tie, they will still be in the running for promotion.

 

Group B4

24 September: Slovenia (2) vs Norway (10), Serbia (7) vs Sweden (3)

27 September: Norway vs Serbia, Sweden vs Slovenia

• If Norway triumphs and Serbia loses to Sweden, or if Norway draws and Serbia wins, Norway will be promoted to League A. No one can demote Norway.
• If Serbia wins, they will undoubtedly still be in the running for promotion. Serbia can never be demoted.
• If Slovenia loses to Norway and Sweden wins, they will avoid relegation. One cannot advance Sweden.
• If Slovenia loses and Sweden triumphs, Slovenia will be demoted to League C. One cannot advocate for Slovenia.

 

LEAGUE C

Group C1

22 September: Türkiye (12) vs Luxembourg (7), Lithuania (0) vs Faroe Islands (4)

25 September: Faroe Islands vs Türkiye, Luxembourg.

The requisites for UEFA Nations League finals qualification in this Group are:

• Türkiye will be promoted to League B. Türkiye cannot be relegated.
• Luxembourg will stay in promotion contention if they win. Luxembourg cannot be relegated.
• Faroe Islands will be safe from entering the relegation play-outs if they avoid defeat. The Faroe Islands cannot be promoted.
• Lithuania must win to avoid entering the relegation play-outs. Lithuania cannot be promoted.

 

Group C2

24 September: Cyprus (2) vs Greece (12, promoted), Northern Ireland (2) vs Kosovo (6)

27 September: Greece (promoted) vs Northern Ireland, Kosovo vs Cyprus

• Greece are promoted to League B as group winners.
• If they win, or if Cyprus loses, or if both games are drawn, Kosovo will be safe from entering the relegation play-outs.

• Kazakhstan will be promoted to League B if they win, if they draw and Slovakia does not win, or regardless if Slovakia and Azerbaijan draw. Kazakhstan can not be relegated.
• Slovakia will stay in contention for promotion if they win and Kazakhstan does not win. Slovakia will be safe from relegation if they win, if both games are drawn, or if Belarus loses.
• Azerbaijan will stay in contention for promotion if they win and Kazakhstan loses. Azerbaijan will be safe from relegation if they win and Belarus does not, or if Azerbaijan draws and Belarus loses.
• Belarus will enter the relegation play-outs if they lose and Azerbaijan avoids defeat, or if Belarus draws and Azerbaijan wins. Belarus cannot be promoted.

26 September: North Macedonia vs Bulgaria, Gibraltar vs Georgia.

23 September: Estonia (6) vs Malta (6)

26 September: San Marino (0-0) vs Estonia

Estonia will be promoted to League C if they avoid defeat.

Malta will be promoted to League C if they beat Estonia by a two-goal margin. If Malta win by a one-goal margin, they will need Estonia to lose to San Marino.
