The pipeline route was selected by the Government of Uganda as the least cost and most robust. Due to the viscous and waxy nature of Uganda’s crude oil, the pipeline will need to be heated along the entire route, making the EACOP the longest electrically heated pipeline in the world. The pipeline will be buried to minimize impact on the environment, with some facilities above the ground, designed to ensure minimal environmental and social impact. The project will be compliant with the Ugandan and Tanzanian national legislations and international requirements. The Marine Export Storage Terminal and the Load-Out Facility will be located north of Tanga port over the Chongoleani peninsula. A perfect CV adds Credit To any job Application. 7 Tips To Create A Perfect CV For Job Application Keeping a CV updated is extremely important when applying for new jobs. The CV, or resume, should be tailored to each job you apply for to stand out from the crowd of other applicants. It needs to be short and sweet but also include your best attributes and show why you are perfect for that role. Any job application demands different things when it comes to a CV. There will be somewhere it’s just a one-page document while others require two pages in specific formats with certain labels. Here we will go through different 7 tips on how to create the perfect CV for any job application: 7 Tips To Create A Perfect CV Choose the right format The format of your CV is very important. You need to make sure it is formatted in a way that will make recruiters’ eyes pop out of their heads. Your CV format should match the job description. Make sure that you know the outline of the job description before creating your CV so that you know exactly what to put where. The best way to do that is to look at the job advertisement beforehand and see what the employer is asking for. The best format for a CV is a simple one-page layout with no fancy fonts or crazy colors. Highlight your skills The skills listed on your CV should be real skills that you have gained from experience in previous jobs. You don’t want to list a skill that you think you should have. For example: “I have excellent communication skills”. Nobody cares that you think you are good at communicating. You want to list skills such as “I have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal”. These are the types of skills that will make the difference between you and other applicants. When writing about skills, use bullet points for each skill rather than a full paragraph. The key here is to make your CV stand out from the crowd. This is your short chance to show the employer why you are the perfect fit for the role. Write a professional headline Your headline at the top of your CV should be a summary of your career. It should be short and sweet, but it should also include the following things: The job you are applying for Your current industry Your area of expertise Relevant academic qualifications Relevant skills or experience The headline should be a very quick way for a recruiter to see if you are the right fit for their job. Mention your current job, If Any The current job you have is the most important thing on your CV. This is because it shows how long you have been in the workforce and your current responsibilities. This is where you showcase your experience and what you have been doing for the past few years. You need to make sure it is relevant to the job you are applying for. You don’t want to put something on your CV and then get asked in an interview about how the experience applies to the job. Make sure the job you are applying for is listed at the top of your CV. Pdf Download For Job Opportunities at EACOP Mention your past jobs If the job you are applying for is not your current job, you need to mention your past jobs. Just like with the current job, you want to list the job, your industry, and your area of expertise. You also need to mention what your main responsibilities were in that job. This is important so that you don’t sound like you are job hopping. It also showcases that you have experience in a variety of jobs and have learned from each one. If one of your past jobs isn’t relevant to the job you are applying for, just mention the name and explain that it is not relevant to the job you are applying for. Mention your education Education is a huge part of your CV but it depends on the job you are applying for. If you have a master’s degree, you can put it at the top of your CV. If you have a bachelor’s degree, you can put it under your past jobs. If you have a high school diploma, you don’t even have to include it. Education is important, but it has to be relevant to the job you are applying for. You don’t want to put down that you have a degree in something completely unrelated to the job you are applying for. Add in any extra information You don’t want your CV to be full of just work-related skills and experience. You want it to show your personality through certain things. You can do this by including some of the following things: Your hobbies – Your interests Your volunteer experience Your social media presence Your special skills Your special interests If you have any of these things, make sure they are at the very bottom of your CV.
