2022/2023 Nedbank Cup Semifinal Fixtures: Draw Results

On April 16, 2023, the 2022/2023 Nedbank Cup semifinal fixtures draw took place at Chatsworth Stadium in KwaZulu–Natal.

After the Nedbank Cup quarterfinal match between Royal AM and Kaizer Chiefs, the draw was broadcasted LIVE on the PSL Channel (SuperSport channel 202).

The teams that qualified for 2022/2023 Nedbank Cup Semifinal were: Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Stellenbosch FC, and Sekhukhune United.

One pot was used to hold the names of all four clubs.

No seeding was done.

The first ball drawn in each series was for the home team, while the second was for their rival, the away club.

Up until the completion of all fixtures, this process was repeated.

For a position in the 2023 Nedbank Cup final, Kaizer Chiefs will play Orlando Pirates, and Stellenbosch FC will compete against Sekhukhune United.

Following the quarterfinal match between Royal AM and Kaizer Chiefs at Chatsworth Stadium, the semifinal matchups were determined in a live draw.

The Nedbank Cup, the premier football competition in South Africa, pits amateur clubs against the best professionals, giving them a chance to demonstrate that they are equal to the task of defeating the top clubs. To achieve this feat this season, amateur club Dondol Stars eliminated two league clubs and advanced to the competition’s quarterfinals.
